Merry Christmas

We hope everyone had a great Christmas this year! This was the first year that we didn't travel home to either Seattle or Salt Lake. We missed being with our family but definitely enjoyed not having to be on an airplane with Mason.

Christmas for us was started off with sleeping in! Then we made the traditional "MacMuffins" for breakfast and of course opened the presents that Santa dropped off. We were fortunate to have the Atkinsons & Yeagers come over for dinner as well.

2 months!

* you are my little machine gun "eh eh eh eh"

* you have out grown most of your 0-3 month clothes

* you smile all the time now :)

* you like your pacifier most the time, but lately you will suck on it for a minute, pop it out and then suck on your thumb. Mom or dad will put the pacifier back in your mouth and the cycle starts again. You do this in a casual manner, almost like it is a little game. We need to get it on tape!

* you are growing more red fuzz on the top of your head, and you still have a mullet

* you are better at taking naps now, mom can put you down and you will fall asleep and stay asleep with out mom having to hold you the whole time

* you have officially slept through the night... 8 hours once, 7 a few times and 6 pretty consistently..... though dad and I would appreciate if we could work on 8 this next month!!!! (though we shouldn't complain because we have heard of some babies that have not accomplished this so early, so we are grateful)

* you are our angel baby, so happy and content, and we love you very much!

Christmas Party!

Yesterday we had a little gathering with our friends... we had turkey (the first turkey I have ever made) and decorated gingerbread houses! Here is a picture & video of everyone.

Today Mason and I took our friend Anjanette and her kids to play group so we got all bundled up. He looks so cute with the hat and socks that Jessica gave him! Especially because the hat is a little big and falls over his eyes.

Danny is the early morning seminary teacher for the juniors and seniors in our ward and every night he has to study his lesson for a couple of hours. So Mason sits with daddy while he studies.... it is so cute! It is hard to see but Mason has a big smile on his face!

7 weeks!!!!

Okay, today Mason is 7 weeks old I can't believe how the time flys :) So here are some pictures Danny and I took....

Okay so this is the first post that I, April, am officially doing.... Danny and I are still trying to work out the kinks, and having a newborn baby is slowing the process. So here is the update... Mason is doing fantastic! He is growing like a weed and turning into a little chunker!!!! He just had his 6 week check up and he weighs 12 lbs 2 oz. He gained 1 1/2 in 2 weeks! hahaha, so cute. Also he is smiling and we have attempted to get a picture and/or video but every time we whip out the camera he just stares at it in wonder. But here a few pictures that are kinda smilely... at least you can see his fat cheeks.
