We have had quite the winter here in NY. I didn't mind all the snow and I was excited to take the kids out to play... well Mr. Mason had other plans and refused to put on his snow clothes and go out in the snow. Argh, so we were stuck inside watching the inches (feet) of snow fall from the sky for the last few months. Then all the sudden, after another big storm at the end of February he decided he wanted to go outside and play, and he had a blast! Of course it was after dark the first time he went out in the snow, but we made the best of it. And Lily, as always, was happy to tag along with whatever Mason does. She will even grab her boots and coat herself and try and put them on!
Ever since that first night we have gone outside to play in the snow at least once if not three times a day! Which is fine by me, I am just glad to get out of the house.
Lily mostly likes the snow, especially when she can taste it. The first few times outside were tricky because the snow was deep and icy but she was happy hanging out.
Danny built a nice little wall for fun.
Mason and Lily also think it is fun to throw snow balls!
Mason really likes sledding and he will go all by himself!
