August and September were those months that cost a lot of money on all types of normal home/car repairs. One day I had to take Danny to and from work because his car was in the shop. Well on the way to pick him up I noticed to the van started to smoke. Luckily it was right when I was getting Danny. He checked things out and couldn't find anything wrong so we decided to start going home, well it started up again. We stopped at Wendy's so I could feed the kids and Danny realized it had to do with the brakes. He messed around with it a bit and deemed it safe to drive but I didn't want to chance it with the kids so we called up our friends to come and pick us up. The Anderson's took the kids and I home and Danny drove the van using the emergency break. It turned out there were a few things wrong with the brakes all of which was not covered under our warranty, awesome sauce! But it is all fixed now and thank goodness for Dave Ramsey that we had the money to pay for it :) And now here are some pictures of the event... Lily and Mason loved watching dad jack up the van and of course Lily got "hands on helping" thus her super messy, greasy hands :)
