One of my dads goals to hike all the high points in the US, it is pretty impressive especially because most of them are pretty difficult! Luckily for us the high point in Massachusetts is a drive up, and only a couple of hours away.
It was freeeeeezing cold, windy and snowy at the top. This little boy did not want wear his coat. Usually I just let him keep it off to see how uncomfortable it is but it was too cold I couldn't let him do it and get sick. So ya, he was pretty grumpy the entire time :)
Mt. Greylock is right on the Appalachian trail which is neat!
