cuties

On Saturday Ashley and baby Gwen and Jessica and Tea came over to hang out while our hubbies moved Ashley into her new house. Baby Gwen is only a week old and it was so much fun holding a brand new beautiful baby :)

there's the baby's mouth

there's her nose, hahaha... Tea is so funny ( no babies were hurt during the photo shoot :) )

Here are some beautiful pictures of baby Gwen :)

Yay, we are so excited for the Crosby's and their new addition... and of course Tea is super cute too! Mason is lucky to have so many girl friends :)

Coworker babies

A couple of weekends ago Danny and I got together with some of his coworkers and their babies. We all had babies within a few months of each other.

baby Kaede with his mom and dad, he is about a month younger than Mason. Danny works with his mom and dad, Matt and Keiko

baby Roy... he is only a month old in this picture and he was born on Valentines Day :) Danny works with his dad, Cory. Erin, Roy's mom, runs dog shows. She said that Ralph would be good at the agility runs, but I think he would get super distracted by the other dogs....

5 months

* You sleep really well at night... not so much with the naps

* You can roll over, belly to back! In fact, you don't really like to be on your tummy so you will try and roll over as soon as possible :)

* You can sit up all by yourself!

* You LOVE Ralph! Every time you spot him you get a huge smile on your face and start to chuckle. If Ralph is playing with his toys and growls or if he runs around crazy you start hysterically laughing, it is so cute

* Anything mom and dad are holding, you want to hold too or at least grab. Pretty much you like to grab anything and put it in your mouth

* You got an ear infection and went on a nursing strike for about a week. It was awful since mom had a cold at the same time, but your are back to normal now, yay!

* You found your feet and you like to hold them when you are laying on the floor

* If you lay on the floor for a long period of time you turn in circles, by kicking your legs up and down. I think your record is 540 degrees (a circle and a half)

* You are a crazy sleeper... you are usually completely unswaddled and turned at least 90 degrees

* You love to look in the mirror

* Oh and you drool.... ALOT :)

Friends are like wedgies...

One of the aspects of Job that we are studying in seminary is the influence that friends can have one you. As I looking through some of my "friends" pictures I came up with this one above and also this one below that I thought was classic. Nate was my roommate in college and I begged him to be the Best Man at my wedding. If you know him, you would understand how funny it is to see him like this! I'm still not sure how I got him to pose with his stuffed cow like this but I think its hilarious! Thanks for the laugh Nate :-)

nap time

Mason is taking a nap, it is a MIRACLE. Lately he will only take a 40 min nap IF I am lucky. It has been super frustrating because I can't get anything done... Anyway he has been asleep for almost 2 hours and I am so excited that I thought I would post it, yay! Who knows if he will do it again, but hey I will take what I can get! I made cookies, anybody want some :)

mohawk

Yay, I am so excited that Mason's hair is long enough to put in a mohawk... I don't know why but I could wait to be able to do this :) His hair is growing in so much on the top of his head, yay!

kind of a weird face but good view of the hair

oh how much I love him :)

Crazy sleeper

This is what Mason looks like when we put him to bed for the night (note... this was actually taken after his morning nap that is why it is light and his eyes are open, but you get the idea)

This is what I saw when I went to check on Mason this morning (he slept with out a peep for 10 hours :) ) if you look closely you can see a little blue foot sticking through the slats of the crib. It made me a little nervous that his face was against the bumper, but I had checked on him about an hour earlier and his head was the other way so no worries :) hahahahaha he is so funny, and he did this with out making too much noise, craziness. I had to wake him up after 10 hours... I guess day light savings has him tired too!

Sitting up for real!

The other day I was talking to my friend Anjanette about Mason sitting up and I told her he just kinda leaned forward alot, not really sitting up. SO I set him down to show her and voula... he could sit up. He even tries to balance himself! But if he tries to look anywhere but ahead he falls over!

The Blackburns

About a week ago Danny and I babysat the Blackburn kids from Sun-Wed. It was quite the adventure to go from 1 kid to 5! They were really good so it made it easier, the girls especially were a huge help. Plus Mason had no problem sleeping in a different bed in a different house so that is nice to know when we go visit family! Here are the kids:

Sienna, 9

Gretchen, 7

Charles, 3 1/2

George, 17 months

Growl'n & Laugh'n

So apparently Mason find it very amusing when Ralph growls while playing with his toy. Be sure to turn up the volume when watching this one!
