Lily's birthday present

My friend that was moving gave me this cute book case because she was getting rid of it.  I had wanted a doll house for Lily for her birthday (I already had furniture that I found at a garage sale) I repainted it and put a back on it then mod podged some scrapbook paper on the back for different rooms.  It is rather large but it is nice because I don't have to worry about Lily breaking it :)

I forgot to take a picture of the final doll house all set up with furniture, oh well!  Either way happy birthday to Lily!

Random family pictures

Don't you love it when wonderful friends call you up and randomly say "hey I have a white couch and was going to put it in my backyard, do you want to come over and take some pictures"  Fun fun!

Mason's big boy bed

We finally thought it time to upgrade Mason to a big boy bed because his toddler bed was getting really small.  I wanted to get a bunk bed style because we knew that Mason and Lily were going to share a room in the near-ish future.  Luckily, and gratefully, our friends gave us a full size loft bed!  Spoiled Mason gets a full size bed all to himself that is lofted up.  He thinks it is pretty cool, and it is nice because he has room for him to sleep and most of his toys :)  Plus there is room underneath for a twin size bed for Lily.  The bed takes up most of their tiny room but it is worth it when you get nice things for free! 

mosquito bites

After all the rain and hurricanes we had this summer, things got really really wet.  And that resulted in lots of mosquitos!  My poor kids looked like they had the chicken pox and poor Lily got bit right by the eye a few times resulting in, swollen eye.  Poor thing!
