Once upon a time Lily kept brushing her hair, practicing her princess skills like Cinderella and Ariel. Well her mommy kept asking her to stop and was hiding the brushes because brushing curly hair= crazy lioness type poof going on. It wouldn't be a big deal except this beautiful spunky red head doesn't like her up in pig tails, pony tails or bows. So mommy decided it would be fun to try and straighten it. It took the whole family sitting in the bathroom keeping her entertained for 10 minutes but it happened and she looks good! Lily really felt like a princess after and kept running her fingers through it and looking in the mirror. It was right before bed time but we quickly went outside to grab a few pictures, and yes she insisted on wearing this icky minnie mouse costume but whatever :)
Mason makes sure that he gets attention when Lily is getting any so he requested, many many times, that I take a picture of the game he was playing on my phone :)
Look at all the different shades of red in her hair! It almost looks blonde at the bottom. I wonder what it is going to happen this summer when we are in the sun a lot
And even though I prefer her curls, it was fun to try something new :) Love you my little princess!

She looks like a totally different girl with straight hair. Her hair color is so pretty.
And no matter which way, curly or straight, she is darling!
I love the curls but she looks great with straight hair.
Yeah, my hair has about 5 different shades in it too. Not all red heads have hair like that, but some do.
