We had quite the ice storm the other night that left us without power for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. Danny had to go and put the back up for the sump pump in at midnight so our house didn't flood! Luckily it came back on so nobody got too cold. The next day everything was encased in glassy ice which was very pretty. Not so pretty scraping off the car just to get in the driver side of the car for 10+ min. It sure did make for some pretty pictures though, if you haven't already go check out my photography blog were I put a lot of non-kid ice covered pictures!
