Raspberry Day Parade

A couple hours after we played with our red headed friends we headed up to Bear Lake for Raspberry Days!  They tricked us by changing the parade to a week night instead of Saturday morning so we timed it so we could see all the fun cars, people and of course get candy!

Mason and Lily of course sat right on the ground and played in the gravel/dirt while we were waiting for the parade to start!

Neither one of them was terribly excited about the parade because we have never been to one before.  Plus the lack of sleep added to their crabbiness.  At first they both freaked out because the big trucks kept honking and turning on sirens which was a little loud for their ears.  But they got over it as soon as the figured out they were throwing candy!

At the end they were all smiles, waving a people and asking for candy.  Oh and a cute random note there was a little boy standing next to us, probably a year older than Mason, he would grab some candy for himself and then help Mason get candy for his bag.  It was really sweet!

Then we got back to the cabin and the kids enjoyed some of their yummy candy!
